Takano is seen by many as a cold, calm and collective man, both emotionally and physically. Those close to him know that he can be pushy and stubborn (or just an asshole) in getting what he wants, regardless of whatever the situation may be. When Takano is at work, he is known to have pissed people off with his 'hardass' attitude and his aptitude for knowing the exact amount of manga volumes to sell. However, Takano simply takes his work very seriously and is quite passionate about his position as editor-in-chief (even if it is for editing shoujo manga).
Despite being described as a 'demon' at work, Takano makes sure to keep his work and personal life separate. At home, he keeps his apartment neat and tidy and is more reserved and quiet. He's also quite the cook. He likes to read various types of literature (manga too, of course) but rarely watches television. People who don't know him well would gossip about him, dubbing him as a 'playboy' due to his undeniably good looks and 'mysterious' nature.
When he spends time with friends and family, Takano can tend to talk with them for a long time, sometimes over a meal or a few drinks. He also enjoys a joke or two. When it comes to people he's romantically involved with, he becomes overprotective, easily jealous and sometimes makes rash decisions. It would take him a while to converse normally with them, mainly because he's nervous (even though he doesn't show it). However, he'll later get over his initial embarrassment and show his lover how much they mean to him.

Any books that are rare and out of print, they always have the most bizarre things. However I'm quite interested in the literature magazine 'Shosetsu Koharu'.

I haven't got many, but one of the authors I like is Usami Akihiko.

Since I edit manga, I'll need toner, a cutter, some paper cement, the phototypeset, and so on.
